Londa's Fall '06 Creativity....

Classy Creative Sweatshirt Jacket    Classy Coat Lois Ericson/ Design & Sew Patterns - this time using it interpreted in one of my Creative Sweatshirt Jackets.  This is a very, very flattering, face-framing collar design...one of my absolute favorites.

D'Lea's Konvergence Kimono fashioned of Grey wool Jersey (2-7-07:  still available at http://www.londas-sewing.com) and embellished with Artist Foil (carried on this website). This is a striking jacket/wrap/accessory piece that certainly 'turned heads' as I modeled it at a recent fine arts fair where it quickly sold!

In The Studio 4 - from Design & Sew/Lois Ericson - fashioned from scraps!  Londa's 2 Cents Worth booklet comes FREE with purchase of this pattern.  There are SEW many great ponchos and wraps in this pattern...be sure to see additional images shown on the pattern's page on this website.  You can see more of my interpretations when you go to the pattern, and scroll down on the page.
Circlet Collar created on a base of silk doupionni, with 'pads' of feathers glued to secure.
My first Classy Coat.  Details and "Londa's 2 Cents Worth" is a valuable FREE benefit to ordering this pattern through this website.

Kimono Jacket & Vest from Purrfection Artistic Wearables...created completely from scraps!  The 'tie' is a crossswise narrow strip of the leaf polar fleece fabric.  Dangling, is a Chinese Coin , and the swivel clasp is a Clover item...find it at http://www.londasclovernotions.com.  On the collar, which is pieced of scraps from my 'brown/neutral drawer', I've played with stenciling.

Vogue 8305 - with shortened front pieces of Teal Wool Jersey (2-7-07:  still in stock and available!).  Embellished with Needle Felting using the Clover Needle Felting Kit and the Wool/Angelina mix called Bear Lake - a brand new colorway of roving.

"Raven Captured".  A convertible cape-type collar (you can 'velcro' off the streamers) fashioned of the wonderful black and white basketweave fabric (2-7-07, still available at http://www.londas-sewing.com) and black feathers.  The black feathers are glued on, and then 'captured' under a layer of black tulle on the cape portion of this piece.
